Caroline (Carolyn) Hale Wright

Funeral service for Mrs. Caroline Hale Wright, 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, February 29, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Warren Eckhard officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time Thursday at the Mausoleum Chapel. 

Mrs. Wright was born on February 16, 1936, and passed away on February 26, 2024. She was a member of North Monroe Baptist Church, and her faith was always strong. She loved her family and grandchildren deeply and could make a mean dish of mashed potatoes. Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her husband, Carol C. Wright, Jr.; father, Dewitt Hale; mother, Rosa Edna Vancheane Hale; three brothers, Elmer “Gena” Hale, Howard Hale, and Harold Hale; grandson, David Carroll Sherman. 

Survivors include her daughter, Eva Sherman; grandchildren, Jonathan Sherman and wife Ashley , Joshua Waits, Joseph Waits, and Danielle Crain and husband Kody; great grandchildren, Caroline , Jackson, Joseph Waits Jr., and Alayan Grace Eldridge; brother, Wiley “Level” Hale and wife Phyllis; and sister, Rose M. Hale.
