A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Charlotte Ann Smith Dickey, 82, of Monroe, LA, formerly of Church Point, LA, will be held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2026, at Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, with Rev. Do Minh Vu officiating. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 12, 2026, at Resthaven Cemetery in Oakdale, LA. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 9, 2026, at Mulhearn Funeral Home on Sterlington Road in Monroe, with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

Charlotte was a retired registered nurse and a loving mother and grandmother. Her family will miss her dearly and will carry her love with them in the memories they shared.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Lois Smith; brother, Mike Smith of Franklin, LA; and grandson, “TJ” Dickey of Church Point, LA.

Those left to cherish her memory include her four sons, Thurman B. “Thad” Dickey III and wife Tonya, David Patrick Dickey, Kenneth Michael Dickey and wife Veronica (Vee), and Charles Douglas Dickey; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Graham, Ryan, Emalie, Charlie, Clesi, Christian, and Nola Dickey; her great-grandson, David Ryan Dickey; and her siblings, Bill Smith and wife Barbara, Carl Smith and wife Audria, Warren Smith, and Nancy Trahan and husband Peter.

Pallbearers will be Graham Dickey, Ryan Dickey, Charlie Dickey, Christian Dickey, Peter Brooke Trahan, and Richie Dickey.

Memorials may be made in Charlotte’s memory to Med Camps of Louisiana or Pilots for Patients.
