Chelsea was born on November 17, 1991 and peacefully went home to be with the Lord while at her residence on May 4, 2025.

She was welcomed home in heaven by her beloved grandparents, Janice Isaac, and Cammie Jean and Willie Mooney Jr. and her brother, Dakota Doyon.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Mykah Perry Smith; Parents, Ramona Doyon and husband James (Jelly), and Gary (Ben) Mooney and wife Amanda; Sister, Hannah Ponder-Mathus and wife Kimber; brothers, Zak Ponder, Cameron Doyon, and Landon Mooney and wife Hillary; and the love of her life, Colt Amos; as well as a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Colt Amos, Zak Ponder, Landon Mooney, Jordon Wiggins, Brandon Hayes and Joseph Mazzanti. Honorary Pallbearer will be Austin Lockhart.

Chelsea loved shopping, usually buying for others, she loved having the family together for game nights, she loved all music, watching movies, spending time with her son and she’d laugh and tell you she even looked forward to watching weekly Wrestling with Colt!

We want to express our heartfelt thanks for the outpouring of love in our community. Your prayers, kindness and support have meant the world to us during this difficult time. We are all deeply grateful for each of you and for the love you’ve shown to our family.

The family wishes to send a special thank you to Chelsea's employer and coworkers for their love and friendship.

In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Fund will be established in Chelsea's memory to support the future needs of her beloved thirteen year old son, Mykah Smith. Details will be shared with family and friends once available.

My daughter, the Lord prepared you for this moment. We know you are sitting right where we all long to be. What a bright light you were and still are. Your smile could light up a room, and your laughter was so contagious! Full of jokes! You had such a way of making everything feel better, brighter, and more hopeful. Your presence had become a constant reminder of the beauty and goodness in the world, and that light will never fade from our hearts.

You were so kind and full of compassion. You cared deeply for others, always putting their needs before your own. You loved your baby, Mykah, more than anything. He was the light of your life! You had a way of making everyone around you feel loved and valued. Your kindness was a gift, and it will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know you.

You had a way of living fully, finding joy in the little things, reminding us that life is precious and that we should never take a single moment for granted. Your ability to see beauty in the ordinary and joy in the simple things is a lesson we will carry on forever.

Thank you God for hearing the battle cries and for answering as you always promised. Thank you for the life she lived and the lives she changed. My girl, my angel, such a warrior. You did it. You made it. Well done, my good and faithful servant.

Though you are no longer physically here, your spirit will live on in our hearts. I miss you deeply.

“So let us weep, but let us sing. For now she rests beneath God’s wing. Her race is run, her crown is won.”

Rest in peace, my beautiful daughter.

Love,

Mom
