Mrs. Rose entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Cherryl graduated from West Monroe High School in the class of 1964, where she served in the band, and was a majorette. She attended Northeast Louisiana University, serving as a member of the Warbonnets dance and drill team. She completed her studies at Louisiana Business College. Cherryl was a lifelong member of the First West Baptist Church, where she volunteered with many groups including: Sound Foundation Youth Choir, Living Christmas Tree Committee, wedding planning, her life group, (Vota Vita), and the sewing ministry (First West Sew Happy Ladies). She enjoyed taking care of her family and friends, attending events that her grandchildren were a part of, her Pentatura Book Club, LSU Tigers and of course all West Monroe High Sports including hearing Mark Fenn say its Friday night you’re in Rebel Stadium. Cherryl worked for Frost Trailer Parts for over twenty years, and she was also a substitute School teacher in the Ouachita Parish School System for several years. She battled cancer and was fighting to stay a little longer, to see her granddaughter receive her doctoral degree and her upcoming marriage and to see her grandson receive his degree in mechanical engineering.

Cherryl was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Lillian Ballard; her brother, First Lieutenant Robert I. Ballard; and her daughter-in-law, Vicki Boudreaux Rose.

Those left to cherish memory are her loving husband of fifty-nine years, Mr. Frank Rose; daughter and son-in-law, Pam Campbell and her husband, Patrick; her son, Mike Rose; granddaughter, Kateland Campbell and fiancé, Jared Warner; her grandson, Hunter Campbell; brother, Don Ballard and his wife, Evelyn; and two nephews, Robbie Ballard and Don Ballard, Jr.

The pallbearers will be Randy Lay, Jeff Wolf, Micky Rodgers, Dan Gilliland, Robbie Ballard, and Skip Moore. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bobby Duke.

The family would like to thank the caring staff at Elara Caring Hospice and wonderful and caring nurses, Betina and Caitlyn.
