Cheryl Dean Ashley Chapman
Services for Mrs. Cheryl Dean Ashley Chapman, 61, of Monroe will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Chapman passed away on June 19, 2017, at Avalon Nursing Home. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Larry Earl Chapman.
Survivors include her daughters, Tonya Michele McFadden and Tracy Lynn Vaughan; and son, Jason Paul Saia; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and siblings, Greg Ashley, Sarah Moss and husband Steve, Michael Ashley, Billy Ashley and wife Linda, and Tammie Arant and husband Gary.
In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away.
You faced your task with courage,
Your spirit did not bend.
And still you kept on fighting
Until the very end.
God saw you getting tired,
When a cure was not to be,
So he put His arms around you
And whispered "Come to Me"
So when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful and free from pain.
We could not wish you back
To suffer that again.
Always remembered and forever missed
By your family and friends.
