Christina Singleton

A memorial service for Christina Singleton, 53, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA, with Rev. Ricky Bonnett officiating.

Ms. Singleton was born January 10, 1971, in Mobile, AL, and passed away July 13, 2024, in West Monroe, LA. Her love for Alabama football was matched by her commitment to rescuing animals and her unwavering work ethic, all while maintaining an assertive indifference to the opinions of others. She was also known for her humor and outgoing personality.

Ms. Singleton was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Hank and Louise Huffman; her father, J.C. Singleton; mother, Wanda Smith; and daughter, Jennifer Nugent.

Survivors include her six children, Dusty Bordelon, Hali Bordelon (Rob), Anthony Bordelon, Amber Mason, Jessica Nugent (Taylor), and Courtney Bordelon (Dustin).
