Christopher "Chris" White

A graveside service for Christopher White, 46, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 24, 2025, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, with Kaylea Coates and Trace Mayo officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe. Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd.

Christopher White, also known as Chris, was a son, father, grandfather, teacher, preacher, musician, and friend who loved nature, history science, literature, movies and real connection to others. He lived his life in the pursuit of knowledge and truth. He was a born-again believer of Jesus Christ.

Chris was preceded in death by his father, David Alan White; grandparents, Faye and Curtis Hammond; and grandmother, Virginia Anne White.

Survivors include his mother, Regina White; aunt and uncle, Wayne-Dale and Darlene Hammond; brother, David Yearwood; children, Jordan Messer and husband Jake, and Megan White Lunsford and husband Kirby; fiancé, Melanie Houghton; and granddaughters, Lilly and Rory Lunsford, and Jenni Messer.
