Claire Lynn Shows

A memorial service celebrating the life of Claire Lynn Shows, 79, of Calhoun, Louisiana will be held at Christ Church Chapel on Friday, October 3, 2025. The visitation celebrating the life of Mrs. Lynn Shows will be held from 5:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. The service will begin at 6:00 P.M. with Lynn's Great Nephew, Pastor Robby Randall officiating.

Mrs. Lynn Shows was born on May 30, 1945, in West Monroe, Louisiana and passed away peacefully at her residence on March 19, 2025.

Lynn was a wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. She loved cooking especially for her family and she would host a dinner for them every Sunday. She was a devoted member of Christ Church in West Monroe. Also, she was an avid Tennis player and was a member of the United States Tennis Association (UTSA). Lynn loved her family fiercely.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Lucian “Tut” Priou, Jr. and Dorothy Claire Buckingham Priou.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her husband, Lonnie Duane Shows; children, Troy Channing Shows and wife, LeeAnn, Bradford Duane Shows and wife, Jennalee; grandchildren, Nicholas Channing Shows, Sydney Shows Clampit and husband, Eli; sister-in-law, Belva Sue Shows Rogers; brother, Guy Bradford Priou; nieces, Karin Priou and Tracee Randall and husband, Bobby; nephews, Joshua Priou and Lloyd Ray “Buddy” Smith; along with numerous great nephews, nieces and great great nieces and nephews.
