Clara M. Carter

Ms. Clara M. Carter, 92, of Monroe, LA was born February 8, 1931, and passed away January 1, 2024. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Monroe, LA, and Beta Phi Sorority. She was a beauty operator for 16 years, then went into the restaurant business where she had Ted & Clara’s Catering and Restaurant.

Ms. Carter was preceded in death by her husband, Ted L. Carter; sons, Joseph A. Carter and Mark L. Carter; mother, Nellie Rowton; two sisters; and one brother.

Survivors include her daughter, Beth Hudson; grandchildren, Nicole Messina, Lawrence David Messina and Ashley E. Rozas; great granddaughter, Reagan E. Rozas and Alexas Scalia; and great grandsons, Caleb A. Rozas, Liam G. Dosselles, and Jonathan M. Messina.
