Claudia is also survived by her friends who started out as softball teammates and became lifelong friends of 43 years and who she considered as family, especially Cindy Green, Gail Blackman and Puddin Malone.
She worked in the health care field for 45 years. She was a magnet for people who were in need and she didn’t hesitate to try and help with that need. As Nana always said, “she was a good soul”.
Claudia’s family and friends would like to thank the staff of Ochsner-LSU Monroe and Shreveport for the amazing care that she has received over the last four months. Special thanks to Dr. Katherine Chang, her staff and the entire ENT team, especially Mrs. Rebecca Smith.
Honorary pallbearers will be her best buddy Crosstin Green, along with Dusty Green, Sean Green, and Wayne Green.
Any planned memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or to Jesus the Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
