Funeral services for Mr. Clyde Houston Campbell, 82, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, November 18, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe, with Pastor Tom Lowe officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 1:00 P.M. until service time on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe.

Mr. Campbell was an Army Veteran, having been stationed in Korea and the Pentagon. Following his honorable discharge, he worked as a Millwright for Graphic Packaging, retiring after 40 years. He was a Christian man and a cowboy, who deeply loved and adored his family. He loved all animals, but most of all his horses and cows. When his children were growing up, he was very active in their 4H program. Mr. Campbell grew some of the most beautiful gardens anyone has ever seen. His favorite pastime was deer hunting and spending time in the woods.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Homer Campbell and Nettie Dison Campbell; father-in-law, Leonard Moore; sister, Judy Dianne Phillips; and numerous other family members.

Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Linda Ann Campbell; children, Kim Cox (Chris) and Kelly Parks (Lance) and “My Boy” Pistol Carter (Heather); grandchildren, Jessica Bunn, Sarah Sampognaro (Ryan), Zachary Rogers (Kelsey), Chance Cox (Harlee), Sam Houston and Kaleigh Rogers; four great grandchildren with another due in May; brother, Newton Campbell; sister, Nancy Shelton (Andy); sister-in-law, Nancy Cason (Pete); mother-in-law, Hildred Moore; brother-in-law, Leonard “Banjo” Moore; and numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Pallbearers will be Chance Cox, Zachary Rogers, Chris Cox, Ryan Sampognaro, Lance Parks, and Sam Houston Rogers. Honorary pallbearers will be Members of “The Rifleman Hunting Club”, Pistol Carter, Harold Snowden, and Russell Greer.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
