Concetta "Connie" Osborne

Private Family service for Mrs. Concetta M. “Connie” Osborne, 97, of Monroe, LA, will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2024, with Rev. Ricky Bonnett officiating. Interment will be in Buttitta Family Cemetery in Rayville under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. 

Mrs. Osborne was born on December 22, 1926, in Monroe and passed away on February 10, 2024, in Monroe. She lived in West Monroe before she and her husband Charlie built their home on Bouef River, where she lived for almost 40 years. Mrs. Osborne was an entrepreneur and managed rental properties while raising her six children. She built her first set of Apartments in 1972, in West Monroe. She and her husband loved to travel. Her passions were cooking and shopping, and listening to music brought her great joy. Mrs. Osborne was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Osborne; parents, John and Concetta S. Medica; son, Thomas C. Buttitta; sisters, Mary Medica Allen, Nancy Medica Wilcoxin, and Sadie Medica Spera; and brother, Joe Medica. 

Survivors include her children, John Buttitta (Helen), Marana Parker (Hughie), Sara Williams, Gina Walker (Lynn), Jack Buttitta (Lisa); and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
