A memorial service celebrating the life of Daniel Ray Sinclair, 68, of West Monroe, Louisiana will be held at 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 5th, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Baker officiating.
The visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service.
Daniel Ray Sinclair was born on August 7th, 1957 to Daniel Otis Sinclair and Annie Solomon Sinclair. He passed away from complications from cancer on June 1st, 2026.
Dan was born in Alexandria, La and the family moved to Crowville for a short time when he was very young. After a move to Monroe, Dan went to Barkdull Faulk, Jefferson Jr. High and Wossman High School. He worked with his dad for several years and learned the car body repair & restoration business. He worked at Van Trow as body shop manager for a time. He was skilled in many areas of car repair and welding. He worked for many years traveling around to many states, Guam, Hawaii, etc. as a welder on shutdowns.
Dan was the BABY of the family of seven siblings, and he always took pride in the title. He was one of a kind. In 2023, he survived a brain aneurysm and had to overcome many disabilities. But he fought back and at the time of his death, he had won the hearts of almost everyone at Landmark Nursing and Rehab.
He was preceded in death by both parents, D.O. Sinclair and Annie Solomon Sinclair; sister, Julia Campbell; brothers, Buddy Sinclair and Donnie Sinclair; several nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and brothers-in-law.
He is survived by his sons, Josh Sinclair and Cody Sinclair and wife Tia; sisters, Shirley Hinton, Brenda Collie and Debbie Hunnicutt and brother-in-law, Lane Hunnicutt; grandchildren, Ava, Rhett and Ryder; numerous nephews and nieces, special nephew Brian Anderson, cousins and special extended family members, Dan, Melissa and Ashley Dixon and MaKenna Whiteman.
A special thanks to the staff at Landmark Nursing Home, Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care and Bro. Ricky Baker. There are so many people at Landmark that were so kind and patient and went over and beyond that are too many to list but Katherine and Kayci were Dan’s and our favorites.
