Funeral service for Mr. D. B. “Buck” Foster, Jr., 77, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 4:00PM Sunday, September 16, 2007, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Rev. Gordon “Skip” Dean officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery.

Mr. Foster passed away on September 13, 2007, at Glenwood Regional Medical Center. He worked for Riverwood for over 38 years and retired as an Assistant Pulp Mill Superintendant. Mr. Foster was a U. S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of the West Monroe Masonic Lodge # 419. Mr. Foster was a loving grandfather and enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Mavis “Pete” Foster of West Monroe, LA; two sons, Jerry M. Foster and wife Georgia, and Dale Foster; daughter, Libby Foster ; mother, Mrs. Ethel Foster; brother and sister-in-law, Buddy and Helen Foster; granddaughter, Kristin F. Butler; and two grandsons, Shane and Jordan.

Pallbearers will be Ed Knowles, John Bush, Oscar (Rat) Townsend, Jim Eppinette, James Allen and Ed Rowan.

Visitation will be from 5:00Pm until 8:00PM Saturday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
