Funeral services for celebrating the life of Delia Ann Butler, 71, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 30, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Winnsboro with Robert Anthony Robertson officiating. Interment will follow immediately after at New Winnsboro Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until service time.
Delia was born January 6, 1955, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on January 22, 2026 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
Dee loved eating out and socializing with her family and friends. She loved the Methodist church and participated in several aspects of the church. Her favorite youthful sports were racket ball, horseback riding, and travel. Later, she enjoyed hunting and fishing with her dad and brother. She enjoyed her sister visits and her sister’s New Orleans condo. She said her best Christmas present was talking and laughing with her sister.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Allen Jr. and Ellie Butler; paternal grandparents, William Allen Sr. and Ellie Butler; maternal grandparents, O.B. and Gladys Hammett; and brother, William Allen Butler III.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her sister, Sandra Butler Jacka; nieces and nephews: Byron Robertson, Dain Robertson, Robert Anthony “Tony” Robertson and wife, Allison, William Allen Butler IV and wife Debbie, Charlynn White, Kimberly Butler Kramer and husband, Blake. Great nieces and nephews: Heather Brown, Chloe Lingo and husband, Clay; Emlie Robertson, Ellie Catherine Robertsom, Garrett Kramer, Matthew Kramer, Paul Kramer, Ellie Katherine Kramer, Joseph Kramer, Taylor Baron, and Tommy Baron.
The pallbearers will be Mark Gremillion, Glen Butler, John LaBlanc, Rene Landry, K.P. Bonner, and Paul Rogers.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Louisiana Baptist Children’s Home.
