Dolores was born in Monroe on May 26, 1938. Dolores was a loving single mother to her daughter, Kelly. She was a devout Christian and faithfully played the organ for over 50 years at several area churches, including:  Central Baptist Church, Lakeshore Baptist Church, and Forest Glade Baptist Church. Her passion for playing the organ at her church began when she was 12 and eventually led to her majoring in organ performance at Northeast Louisiana State College. She enjoyed watching musicals, reading, completing crossword puzzles, and spending time with her family and her beloved dogs, Ginger, Sadie, and Bailey. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew and loved her.

The family would like to thank the nurses and doctors at St Francis’ CVRU for the love and care given to Dolores during her final days. A special thank you to Dr. Morehead and nurses, Bethany, Christine, Chris, Scott, and Baylie for the extra attention given to Dolores during this time.
