Mr. McEnery was born March 9, 1932 in New Orleans, LA and passed away November 30, 2023, in Monroe, LA. Donnie Ray McEnery was a man who loved his Lord and was a great Christian example to everyone with whom he interacted with. He loved DEEP and LOVED all! His Lord and Savior, his Family, his brothers and sisters in Christ, and his many friends were all touched by his kind spirit and love for life! Donnie Ray was a hard worker and could build and make most anything. He was a charter member of Victory Baptist Church in which he oversaw the construction of two church locations from the ground up. He also served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher for over 60 years! He was an avid bow hunter and fisherman. He will always be remembered for his talents in making crappie jigs, bows, bow sights, deer stands and anything else that needed to be made or created. Although we are sad, we know he is walking on streets of gold with his Lord and Savior and now reunited with his loving wife, Violet. We rejoice in knowing we will see him again. He was so loved and will be extremely missed by everyone. He left this earth at the age of 91 but what a mark he made on all who knew him! Gone but never forgotten! Please keep Darlene, Pam, and Don along with their families in your prayers in the days to come.
