Funeral services celebrating the life of Mrs. Dora “Mama Dora” White, 91, of Sterlington, LA will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, May 11, 2026, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA with Rev. Mike Roberson officiating. Interment will follow in the Dean Cemetery.

Mrs. White was born on July 11, 1934, in Marion, LA and passed away in Monroe, LA on May 8, 2026. Her life was full of generosity. She taught us the importance of Faith, value of hard work and that family comes first. She loved the outdoors, mowing and raking leaves. Mrs. White enjoyed every single minute spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her church, First Baptist Church Sterlington, where she tried never to miss a day the doors were open and served the church by keeping the nursery for approximately 20 years.

Mrs. White is preceded in death by her parents, Joe Lee and Karma Brantley; brother, J.C. Brigman; sisters, Jackie Roberson and Karma Jean Hall and her special nephew, Mickey Roberson.

Survivors include her daughter, Sharon Smith and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Heath Smith and wife, Karen and Randi Rene’ Dobbins and husband, Dwayne; great grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Alissa Dobbins, Landry Smith and Daylen Dobbins; her special nephew, who was more like a son to her than a nephew, Mike Roberson and wife, Buffy; nephews, Steve Hollis and Phillip Hollis; nieces, Sharon Ann McKinnie, Johnnie Jo Worley

Pallbearers will be Randy Smith, Heath Smith, Dylan Smith, Dwayne Dobbins, Daylen Dobbins and Mike Roberson. Honorary Pallbearers will be Caleb Roberson, Garrett Roberson, and Ronny Smith.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all the CNA’s, nurses and staff at Ouachita Health Care and Elara Caring for all the love and care they gave to Mrs. White and the family.
