Dorothy Jean Wright

Graveside services celebrating the life of Dorothy Jean Wright, 71, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at Legion Memorial Cemetery in Newellton, LA, with Rev. Ricky Jones officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.

Ms. Wright was born July 18, 1952, in Newellton, LA, to Bob and Mary Lee Purdion, and passed away June 6, 2024, in Monroe, LA. She is preceded in death by her husband, Stanley Wright; father, Bob Purdion; mother, Mary Lee Purdion; sisters, Cathy Scott and Patty Purdion; and brother-in-law, Doug Scott.

Survivors include her son, Robert E. Wright; daughter-in-law, Kacie Wright; grandsons, Hudson Wright, Hunter Wright, and Hagan Wright; granddaughter, Haddie Grace Wright; sister, Jackie Balsamo; and brother-in-law, Calvin Balsamo.
