Funeral services for Doyle Marcus Jinks (Marc), 54, of Sterlington, LA, will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, 2025, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA, with Rev. Jeff Freeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:30 p.m. until service time on Sunday at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe, LA.
Marc was born in West Monroe, LA on September 10, 1971, and passed away suddenly in Farmerville, LA on December 4, 2025.
Marc Jinks graduated as valedictorian from Mangham High School in 1989. He played football and loved the game which he passed on to his sons. Marc received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from NLU in Monroe, LA. The last eleven years he worked in the oil industry for Noble Drilling.
Marc was an active member of Cross Roads Baptist Church. Marc was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed sharing it with the ones he loved. He loved his family dearly. Marc was a devoted son, husband, father, and grandfather.
Marc is survived by the love of his life for 31 years Dana Nobles Jinks; son, Logan Jinks and daughter-in-law Hayley Jinks; son, Landon Jinks and daughter-in-law Baylee Jinks; granddaughter, Camryn Grace Jinks which was the light of his life; parents, Doyle and Donna Jinks; grandmother, Fay Jinks; father and mother-in-law, Ronald and Evon Nobles, brother-in-law, Todd Nobles and sister-in-law Candy Nobles; uncles, Ross Cagle, Steve Cagle, and Dennis Jinks; aunt, Pat Jinks; as well as many other loved ones in his extended family.
Marc is preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Kevin Nobles; grandfather, Ernest (Red) Jinks; grandfather, Arthur Ross Cagle; and grandmother, Marie Cagle.
The pallbearers will be Charlie Jones, Todd Nobles, Spencer Nobles, David Estep, Michael Estep and Corbin Harris.
Memorials may be made to Cross Roads Baptist Church Vision Fund, Farmerville, LA or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
