Mr. Roberts was born on April 6, 1994, in Monroe, Louisiana and passed away on September 20, 2025.

"Dusty was a one-of-a-kind soul with a heart that was as big as his love for animals especially dogs. His compassion extended to every corner of his life, from the animals he cared for to the people he loved deeply. Dusty’s spirit shone through in all that he did, and he always made sure to take care of those around him, whether it was caring for his beloved papaw, Pee Wee Powell in his final days or supporting his mamaw, Ann Berry through difficult treatments at MD Anderson in Houston.

Dusty was a man who never hesitated to lend a hand, always putting others first, and his kindness will be remembered by all who knew him. He was more than just a son, a nephew, or a friend. He was a loving, devoted Uncle Red to his nephews, always making time for them, playing with them, and sharing his joy for life.

One of Dusty’s greatest pleasures was hitting the open road. He loved to drive, and many cherished memories were made on those long trips. Whether he was going on an adventure or just enjoying the simple pleasure of a drive, Dusty’s love for the road will live on in the stories we tell and the places he took us.

In his downtime, Dusty was a fantastic pool player. He cherished the friendships he built while playing and found joy in the camaraderie and competition. He wasn’t just a great pool player, he was a great friend, someone you could count on for a laugh, a good time, and a heartwarming conversation.

He was also the pestering little brother that Cody and Melody never knew they needed but couldn’t have imagined life without. Whether he was driving them crazy with his playful antics or teasing them just to get a laugh, Dusty brought a spark of mischief and joy that made life a little more fun. He may have been a little trouble, but he was their little trouble, and they wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Though Dusty’s time with us was far too short, he lived with a purpose to care, to love, and to make the world a little brighter. His legacy will live on in the love he gave and the lives he touched. Rest in peace, Dusty. You will always be in our hearts, and we’ll continue to honor you by living with the same kindness, joy, and love that you showed every day."

Dusty was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Elory (Pee Wee) Powell and Carl Avery Roberts; grandmother, Linda Powell; great grandmother's, Virginia Oxley, Edythe Robinson; great grandfathers, Troy Sandifer and Leonard Robinson; as well as cousin, Jace Roberts.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his mother, Audra Roberts; father, Andy Roberts and wife, Paige; brother, Cody Roberts; his sister and brother-in-law, Melody Stanfield and husband, Dustin; cherished nephews, Grayor, Layne, Finley, and Hudson. He will be dearly missed by his faithful dog, Layla, as well as a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and many friends who will hold his memory close.

The pallbearers will be Grayor Roberts, Layne Stanfield, Finley Smalley Roberts, and Hudson Roberts.
