E. Earline Eppinette Johnson

E. Earline Eppinette Johnson, 94, of West Monroe, LA, recently of Calhoun, LA, passed away on March 2, 2022. She was born on March 17, 1927, in Jones, LA, to the late Louis Eppinette and Ruby Crenshaw Eppinette.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life of 76 years, R.L. Johnson; son, Ronnie Lynn Johnson; daughter, Linda Jean Johnson Bruce and husband, Ronald; brothers, Sankie, Gilbert, Charles, W. R. and wife, Rosie, and Nealy Eppinette; sisters, Bertha, Leola, and Lelia Crenshaw, Lanie Crenshaw Tubbs and Gertrude Crenshaw McKoin.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Patricia Johnson Collie and husband, Terry of Calhoun, LA; daughter-in-law, Dale Johnson; grandchildren, Kathy Green and husband, Troy, John Bruce, Jr. and wife, Dianne, Todd Johnson and wife, Tracy, Kim Williams and husband, Ron, Donna Gayle Collie Webb and husband, Brian, Bryan Collie and wife, Jana; 13 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Ruby Eppinette; and a host of nieces, cousins, and friends.

Mrs. Johnson retired from the Ouachita Parish School System, a Bus Driver, loved being a teacher in Central, Faith, and Forest Glade Baptist Churches, and was a member of First Baptist Church Monroe, LA. If you knew her, she loved you, and cared for you.

We will miss her dearly, the goodbye kisses, standing at the back door waving goodbye till she couldn’t see you anymore, but mostly, her love for The Lord, instilling in us the same, and that she loved you more.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 6, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA with Rev. Clovis Sturdivant and Rev. Allan Eppinette officiating. Interment will follow in the Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 1:30 P.M. until service time on Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, John Bruce, Jr., Todd Johnson, Bryan Collie, Troy Green, Chandler McKane, and Haden Williams.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children.
