Corey was born July 1, 1975, and passed away on May 30, 2024. He loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. Watching football with friends and family. He was always trying to learn everything he could about his career. Also even if he disliked someone he would still do anything he could to help. He was a person you either loved or hated that you loved. He loved the Saints, he was a MacGyver as we would call him, if it was broken, he could rig it up one way or another to make it work. He wasn’t always the life of the party, but he always loved to be there. He had great friends and family in his life, and he was a great friend to his friends and family.

You either loved him, or you hated him to the point you couldn’t help but to love him. He made an imprint on everyone’s life he touched. He would have given you the shirt off his back even if it meant he was getting sunburned, he would give you the shoes off his feet even if it meant he would end up with blisters. It didn’t matter to Corey, he had the biggest heart, he loved all of his grandchildren, they were the light of his life. We used to call him the brain at work because he knew everything, he might not have had all the info in the correct order, but it was all there in the end. He was a great dad, a great friend, and a great grandfather.

Corey is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Ratcliff; uncle, Joel Monnin; two cousins, Joel Monnin, Jr. and Caden Monnin; grandparents, ED and Dee Monnin and Ben and Ruth Ratcliff.

Survivors include his two sons, Tyler Ratcliff and wife Hayla and Cody Ratcliff and wife Katherine; three grandchildren, Hadley Ratcliff, Avery Ratcliff, and Elliott Ratcliff; father, Gary Lynn Ratcliff; two sisters, DeDe Waterman and husband Jamie, niece Harley and nephew Perry Waterman and Sharron Stephenson; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many special friends.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brian Piercy, Bobby Martin, Larry Gwin, Mike Stephenson, Brennon Leonard, Tyler Pippins, and Jamie Waterman.

Corey’s final act on this earth was the gift of life through organ, tissue, and eye donation.

He will be loved and missed and has made an unforgettable impression on most people’s lives.
