Elizabeth "Liz" Lenora Jackson

Funeral services celebrating the life of Elizabeth “Liz” Lenora Jackson, 76, of Rayville, Louisiana will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, May 19, 2025 at Archibald Church of Christ with Travis Arrant officiating. Interment will follow immediately after in Lynn Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home. The visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service.

Elizabeth was born on November 5, 1948, in Archibald, Louisiana and passed away on May 17, 2025, in Rayville, Louisiana. Liz was a lifelong member of Archibald Church of Christ. To know her was to love her and she will be dearly missed.

Liz is preceded in death by her parents, John Graham and Mildred Smith Jackson; sister, Glenda Jackson Stephenson; brother, Jesse “Buck” Jackson; nephews, Robert Macon Stephenson and Barret Shea Gwin; and niece, Sarah Stephenson Ivy.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Wanda Gwin and husband, Larry and Sharon Stephenson and husband, Mike; brother-in-law, Roger Stephenson; sister-in-law, Dottie Jackson; aunt, Amelia “Dell” Free; nieces, Tracey Stephenson, Monica Hales, Buffie McSwain, April Jackson, and Brandy Dannehl; nephews, John Jackson and Jess Jackson; and several great nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Waymond Hales, David McSwain, Chris Dannehl, Jonathon Williams and Ryan Ivy.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehab in Rayville, La. Liz enjoyed calling Colonial Manor home for the last decade and loved everyone there.
