Graveside services for Mr. Eugene V. (Buddy) Beard, Jr., 93, of West Monroe, La. will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday at Mt. Vernon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Buddy Wade officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA
Buddy died February 19, 2017 at the West Monroe Guest House
He was retired from the Louisiana Department of Transportation.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen and granddaughter, Erin Beard.
Survivors: Daughter, Vicki Thomas; Son, Gordon E. Beard; Grandchildren, Yancey, Alex, Nicholas, Brandon, and Jessica Megan; Great Grandchildren, Adilyn Rae and Dayton.
Memorials may be made to Mt. Vernon Baptist Church.
