Eva Mae Garner Fowler

A memorial service for Mrs. Eva Mae Garner Fowler, 88, of Monroe, LA, will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at Parkview Baptist Church with Rev. Terry Barnes officiating under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Private family interment service will be held later. Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe. There will be a visitation from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the church as well.

Mrs. Fowler was born on May 12, 1935, in Kingsland, AR, and passed away on June 24, 2023, in West Monroe. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church in Monroe and was very active in her Bible Study Class as well the music program. She loved volunteering at her church and at Glenwood Regional Medical Center for many years.

Mrs. Fowler is preceded in death by her husband, Harold Ragan Fowler; five sisters, Lois Davis, Nadine Porter, Bernice Dortch, and Mary Roushia; and one brother, Preston Garner all of Arkansas.

Survivors include her son, Steve Fowler and wife Laura; grandchildren, Travis Fowler and wife Holli and Tyler Fowler; great grandchildren, Saylor Schrock and Tyler Henley Fowler; daughter, Karen Michelle Reynolds; and grandchildren, Raylee Butler, Ragan Reynolds, and Asa Boyce.

Memorials may be made to Parkview Baptist Church in Monroe.
