Evelyn Merchant Brooks

A funeral service for Ms. Evelyn Merchant Brooks, 93, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 20, 2024, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel in Monroe, LA, with Rev. Terry Barnes officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time in the mausoleum chapel.

Ms. Brooks was born January 25, 1930, in Elizabeth, LA, and passed away January 18, 2024 in Monroe, LA. She was a member of Parkview Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Karen Brooks of Monroe, LA; her brother, Melton Merchant of DeRidder, LA; as well as nieces and nephews.
