Frances Eileen Black

A memorial visitation for Mrs. Frances Eileen Black, 70, of Monroe, LA, will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd., Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Black was born October 25, 1952, in Atlanta, GA and passed away December 8, 2022, in Monroe, LA. She graduated from Northeast Louisiana University (NLU), now University of Louisiana at Monroe (ULM), with a Master of Science (Master’s degree) in psychology. She was retired but had been a professor in the Psychology Department at ULM for 20 years and was a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in private practice.

Mrs. Black was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Vivian Black.

Survivors include her daughter, Tonya Green and husband Stefan of Monroe, LA; brother, Sam Black and wife Tricia of Atlanta, GA; and beloved dog, Beezus.
