Gary Wayne Franks

Gary Wayne Franks, 67, of Rocky Branch, LA, was born October 1, 1956, in Monroe, LA, and passed away June 20, 2023.

Gary was an ironworker, fisherman, father, and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas “Pete” Franks and Laura May Foust and brother, James Thomas “Little Pete” Franks Jr.

Those left to remember him are his daughter, Nikki Bruner and her son’s, Lane and Cason; his daughter, Jana Sharp and husband, Kurt Sharp and their 3 children, Colt, Anna, and Bella; his brothers, Dalton “Pewee” Spillers, Randy Smith, and Ezra Armstrong; his sister, Debbie Vialpondo; and many, many cherished friends.

The family will gather with family and friends on Thursday, June 29, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home West Monroe, LA from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M.
