A funeral mass celebrating the life of Mr. Georgia Mae Gritzmacher, 103, of Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday July 28, 2026, at Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Monroe, LA with Rev. Peter Mallya and Deacon Bill Goss officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA

Mrs. Gritzmacher died July 25, 2026, at the Garden of Somerset in Monroe after a brief illness.

Mrs. Gritzmacher was a longtime member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church. Georgia Mae provided a peaceful and loving home to her family and to all her children’s friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Kenneth J. Gritzmacher; son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Carla Gritzmacher; Daughter, Mary Ann Gritzmacher; brothers and sister-in-law, William and Dorothy Stewart and Donald George Stewart.

Survivors: Son, Thomas James Gritzmacher and his wife, Penny; 3 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
