Gertrude Virginia Horrell

Graveside funeral services will be held for Mrs. Gertrude Virginia Horrell, 103, of West Monroe, LA at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at the Hasley Memorial Pavilion in West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Mark Fenn and Rev. Harlan Knight officiating. Interment will follow in Hasley Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA

Mrs. Horrell was born on November 16, 1920, in Columbia, Louisiana, and passed away on December 17, 2023, at Arbor Lake Nursing Home in Farmerville, Louisiana.

Mrs. Horrell was a longtime member of First Baptist Church in West Monroe, Louisiana. She was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling and spending time outdoors and going fishing with her family.

Survivors: two sons, Frank Horrell and his wife, Elaine and Richard Horrell and his wife, Rita; grandchildren, Frankie Wale and her husband, Don, Chip Horrell, Danny Horrell and his wife, Jennifer, Christopher Horrell and his wife, Erin, Jessica Rosson and her husband, Benji, and T. J. Horrell and wife, Natalie; 15 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; brother, George Reynolds and his wife, JoAnn; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church Senior Adult Ministry.
