Private Family Services for Mrs. Glenda Josephine Powell Watkins, 68, of Rayville, LA, will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Rayville, LA.
Mrs. Watkins was born April 16, 1953, and passed away on September 12, 2021. She attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Glenda enjoyed listening to music, traveling, and gardening. She was a vintage Coca Cola collector, who traveled as far as Japan for her collection. Glenda worked for BAS Construction, Lasalle Management and for a short time the Richland Parish Sheriff Office.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Glen Powell and Joyce Ann Powell.
Survivors include her son, Zachary Watkins and wife Whitney; sister, Carol Schmidt and husband Jon; brother, James “Jimbo” Powell; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Memorials may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
