Guy Alexander, Jr.

Guy Alexander, Jr., age 76, of Flint, Texas, died February 2, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Guy lived many stories, raised by his grandmother on a farm in North Louisiana before attending Louisiana Tech University, graduating in the class of 1974. He rose to the top of his profession and loved his work in the oilfield. He was known, trusted, and valued as much for his hard work and dedication as for his hard-won skill and experience and the field.

He was fiercely proud of his children, nieces and nephews, and grandchildren. He was kind and thoughtful. He loved and took great pride and joy in his friends and family. He loved roadtrips and finding adventure even in a quiet life.

He was preceded in death by his parents Joyslyn and Guy Alexander, his sister Linda Ford, nephew Michael Ford, and beloved son Colby Alexander.

He is survived by his significant other of 25 years, Matthew Beal, step-daughters Carmie (Christopher) Roberts, Mattalee (Benjamin) Sharp, son Tom (Jen Rault) Alexander, Tom and Colby’s mother Margaret (Steve) Koskie, grandsons Beckett and Emmett Alexander, and loved family and friends.
