Graveside services for Mrs. Gwendolyn McQueen Jones, 82, of West Monroe, LA will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery with Rob Smith officiating, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA.

Mrs. Jones died at her son’s residence in McRae, Arkansas after a brief illness.

Mrs. Jones was a former member of Grace Episcopal Church in Monroe, LA. She was a retired Clerk with the Ouachita Parish Clerk of Court Office. She received her B.S. Degree in Biology from ULM.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Houston V. Jones, her son, Hugh Leighton Jones, and Sister, Rita Hancock.

Survivors: two sons, James Jones and his wife, Kristi and Mitchell Jones; two grandsons, James Zachary Jones and Mitchell D. Jones, Jr.
