Hayes Tyler Crawford

Funeral Services for Hayes Tyler Crawford, 9, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, December 19, 2022, at Cedar Crest Baptist Church in West Monroe, LA, with Dr. Jarrett Fix and Dr. Greg Clark officiating. Interment will follow in New Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in West Monroe, LA, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA. Visitation will be held from 12:00 P.M. until service time on Monday at the church.

Hayes Tyler Crawford was born March 6, 2013 and passed away December 13, 2022. He was a member of Cedar Crest Baptist Church and attended Drew Elementary School.  He was very athletic in numerous activities including the Hero Fitness Academy, The Boys and Girls Club of North Louisiana Football and also West Monroe Dixie Youth Baseball. Hayes had a heart for Jesus and people.  His heart was pure, and he lived out Deuteronomy 6:5, “Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, and strength.”  The joy of the Lord was truly his strength. Hayes always put others before himself and loved them unconditionally.  His heart was brave and mighty for a young man of his age.

Hayes is preceded in death by his great grandparents, John and Betty Stimac, Sam and Mildred Crawford, John B. Mitchell, Twylia Simpson, Floyd Pate and Margie Goodwin; grandfather, David W. Mitchell; cousin, Landon Slavant; great uncle, Marshall Hubbard; and great aunts, Judy Perrault and Pam Eby.

Survivors include his parents, Tyler and Erin Crawford; sisters, Lily and Ellie Crawford; grandparents, Richard and Lisa Crawford, and Debbie Pate; aunts and uncles, Lee Crawford, Cara Crawford, Amanda Reed and husband Lance, Brandilyn McDonald-Barkley, Emily Snowden and husband Justin, Mark Hubbard, Pat Hubbard, Tammy Slavant, and Gary Hollis and wife Janis; cousins, Connor, Camden, and Cade Reed, Jackson, Jansen McDonald, Brooklyn Barkley, Dylan and Ashlen Snowden, Ethan Snowden, and Annalee Snowden; along with numerous other great aunts, uncles and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Dylan Snowden, Ethan Snowden, Connor Reed, Camden Reed, Cade Reed, Jackson McDonald, Adrian Ables, and Quentin Henry. 

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jude Fix, Brooks Bower, Bennett Belcher, Barron Belcher, Ranger Bower, Connor Hollis, Cody Hollis, Lane Harper, Sydney George, Garrett George, Seth Chriceol, Brayden Chriceol, Joelene Goforth, Luke Ables, Hudson Ables, Ethan Robert, Jackson Womack, Ben Bebe, and John Parker Barron.
