Hayward W. Richie

Funeral services for Hayward William Richie, 89, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, July 17, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathon Wagner officiating. Interment will follow at Chatham Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 A.M. until service time on Monday.

Mr. Richie was born January 17, 1934, in Chatham, LA, and passed away on July 12, 2023.

Hayward retired from Entergy where he was an engineer. He was a hard worker and really loved the work he did there. He was also a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church where he enjoyed worshipping the lord.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Ada Louise Richie. 

He is survived by his children, Debbie Crain (Dewayne), Chere Bennett, and Mark Richie (Melissa); 8 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
