Heidi Michelle Craig Norris

Heidi Michelle Craig Norris, age 50, passed away peacefully in her sleep on July 3, 2025. Heidi will be remembered as a kind-hearted, loving child of God whose gentle spirit touched the lives of many.

She graduated from the Louisiana School for the Deaf and later attended a vocational school for the deaf in San Antonio. A proud Louisiana sports fan, Heidi loved to dress in and decorate with the colors of her favorite teams—the LSU Tigers and the New Orleans Saints.

Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family and friends.

Heidi is survived by her parents, Sharon and Brian Henry; her sister and brother-in-law, Brandi and William Ecklund; along with nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins whom she dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Craig, and her grandparents, Ernest and Paula Duncan.

A celebration of Heidi’s life will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at St. Thomas Episcopal Church, 3706 Bon Aire Drive, Monroe. A reception will follow on the church’s sun porch.

A private burial will take place at Causey Cemetery.
