 Funeral services for Helen Marie Chumley, 78, of Ruston, LA, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday April 22, 2008 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe with Dr. Fred Wideman officiating.  Burial will follow in Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
 Mrs. Chumley died April 20, 2008 in Ruston, LA.  She is preceded in death by parents, Delmar Gates and Nettie Leonard, sister, Carol Sue Gates.
 Survivors include her husband Gale Chumley; children, Billie Bloomer and husband Gary of Monroe, LA, Gail Slade and husband Pete of Clayton Texas, Pat Fisher of Shreveport, LA; step-children, Barbara Chumley of Ruston, LA, Bill Chumley and wife Dee Dee of Oklahoma, Audrey Sullivan and husband Gary of New Mexico; sisters, Liz Moore, Frances Wallace; and Linda Sherman; brother, Bobby Gates; seven grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
 Pallbearers will be Michael Bloomer, Chris Kelley, Randy Antley, Heath O’Neal, Robert Young, and Jesse Johnson.
 Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Monday April 21, 2008 at Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe.
 Memorials may be made to the Lincoln Parish Library in Ruston, LA.
