Herbert Albert Lutz

Funeral service for Mr. Herbert Albert Lutz, 94, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Saturday, October 3, 2015, at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church in Monroe with Rev. Whit Stodghill officiating. Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Monroe. Mr. Lutz passed away on September 28, 2015, at Avalon Nursing Home. He was a member of St. Alban’s Episcopal Church. Mr. Lutz was an Army Veteran of WWII serving as a combat engineer. He worked for the US Postal Service for over 35 years as a letter carrier. Mr. Lutz was preceded in death by his wife, Laverne Larsen Lutz.Survivors include his brother-in-law, Lars John Larsen; and two nephews, Howard and Kenneth Lutz. Pallbearers will be members of St. Albans Episcopal Church.Visitation will be from 5:00PM until 7:00PM Friday at St. Alban’s Episcopal Church.
