It is with sadness that we announce the death of Mr. H. J. (Beto) Elizondo, 75, of West Monroe, LA. A celebration of his life will be in the future with a date to be determined.
Beto died November 23, 2024 in his duck blind in Morehouse Parish enjoying what he loved, hunting ducks.
Beto was the owner of Construction & Maintenance Resources, Inc. (CMR, Inc.) He served Ducks Unlimited in numerous local, state, and national positions. He was selected as emeritus with the National Board of Ducks Unlimited. Beto was an exchange student graduating from Neville High School.
He returned home to Monterrey, Mexico attending college in construction management. He returned to Monroe receiving a position at Ford Bacon and Davis. Beto loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and spending time on their land in Montana.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: his companion for over 26 years, LeeAnne Pappas; brother, Checo Elizondo, and sisters, Nery Rodriguez and Elsey Elizondo.
