Irma "Janie" Jackson

Irma “Janie” Jackson, 84, of Monroe, LA, transitioned to her eternal home on Saturday, February 18, 2023. Irma worked in the Ouachita Parish School System for 34 years before retiring in 2007. She enjoyed reading and traveling.

Mrs. Jackson is preceded in death by her sons, Marvin Walker, Jacques Jackson, and Clinton Toston; sister, Odell Mathis; and brother, Alvin Jackson.

She leaves her precious memories with her daughter, Ansara Jackson of Monroe, LA; son, Jarvis Jackson. Sr. of Nevada; sister, Audrey Adams of Nevada; brother, Earl Jackson of California; 13 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great great grandchild.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.
