James Huey Hart

Funeral services celebrating the life of James Huey Hart, 86, of Monroe, La will be held at 10:00 AM Friday April 2, 2021 in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe, LA with Rev. William Sikes officiating. Interment will follow at Loch Arbor Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Hart died March 30, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family.
Mr. Hart was a member of Loch Arbor Baptist Church in Swartz, LA. He was a retired member of the U. S. Naval Reserves and the Plumber and Steamfitters Local # 659. Being in the construction industry he traveled all over the United States on jobs. He enjoyed sports and was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester Leon and Elma Dee Hart, and his brother, Jewel Lucian Harris.
Survivors: his wife of 66 years, Mrs. Rachel C. Hart; children, Karen Rainbolt and husband, Terry, Janet Bulloch, James R. Hart, and Paula Ragsdale and husband, Lester; 8 Grandchildren, Lindsey Monnin (Bo),
Jared Rainbolt, Trey Rainbolt (Kelsey), Julie Bulloch, Heather Hart, Jessie Dollar (Jacob), Holly Hart, and Landon Ragsdale; 20 Great Grandchildren; three great great grandchildren; and two nieces, Patricia Thompson and Nancy DeWitt.

Pallbearers will be Landon Ragsdale, Trey Rainbolt, Trey Monnin, Caden Monnin, Jacob Dollar, Bo Monnin, Chandler Ragsdale and Evan Ragsdale.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. Thursday at Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
