Jana Lou Elliott

Funeral Services for Jana Elliott, 51, of Monroe, LA will be held at 12:00 PM Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at White’s Ferry Road Church, West Monroe under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, Monroe. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery in Iowa Park, TX at 11:00AM Thursday, February 24, 2022.

Jana was born on October 6, 1970, in Wichita Falls, TX and passed away on February 17, 2022, in Shreveport, LA. She taught at West Monroe High School for over 20 years. Jana was a loving mother, loved to travel, and enjoyed being in the outdoors. She was a member of White’s Ferry Road Church. She is preceded in death by her father, John Rains.

Survivors include her mother, Katie Rains; husband, Mark Elliott, Jr.; two daughters, Katelyn Elliott and Rachel Elliott.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Madison, Tommy Barker, Brad Johnston, Steve Cox, Phil Thames, Scott Nelson, Christian True and Brian Moreau.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance or The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition. These organizations were so important to Jana.
