Jay Bradford Forester, 81, of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away on December 17, 2023. He was born on July 27, 1942, in Tuxedo, New York, Jay was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Throughout his life, he exemplified qualities of selflessness and kindness that touched the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

After obtaining his bachelor’s degree at the University of Georgia, Jay embarked on a successful career in real estate at Century 21/Shackelford French. Jay’s great sense of humor and outgoing personality made real estate a perfect fit for him. He was the best storyteller and his children’s biggest and best fan.

But beyond his professional accomplishments, Jay's true purpose in life centered around his family and community. As a devoted member of McGuire Methodist Church, he found solace in his faith and actively contributed to the spiritual well-being of others. His involvement in various church activities showcased his deep commitment to serving others.

Jay also proudly served as a U.S Airforce Airman First Class during his younger years. His military service instilled in him a sense of duty, loyalty, and honor that he carried with him throughout his life.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife, Beverly Ann Harrelson Forester; daughters, Jillian Nolde and her husband, Kevin and Holly Saxby and her husband, Will; sons, Joshua Forester and his wife, Shanna and Jack Forester and his wife, Cynthia; sister, Nancy Sanderson; sixteen grandchildren; as well as three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank Albert Forester and Muriel Wilhemina Bradford Forester.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Jay Bradford Forester will be held 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, December 20, 2023, at McGuire Methodist Church, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home, West Monroe.

Jay's passing leaves a void that can never be filled, but his legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the love he shared. His unwavering devotion to his family, his commitment to serving others, and his kind-hearted nature serve as an inspiration for us all. Though we mourn the loss of a remarkable individual, we are forever grateful for the time we had with Jay Bradford Forester. His spirit will continue to live within our hearts, reminding us to embrace each moment with love and compassion.
