Jeffrey Wade Olsen, 59, of West Monroe, Louisiana, passed away on September 29, 2026. He was born on December 14, 1966.

Memorial services celebrating Jeffrey’s life will be held at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 3, 2026, at Zebedee Baptist Church with Jason Foust officiating.

Jeffrey was a kind and loving soul who never met a stranger. He touched the lives of many with his warm heart, joyful spirit, and genuine love for others. For many years, Jeffrey was lovingly cared for by the dedicated staff at Care Solutions, who became an important part of his life and family.

Jeffrey loved competing in the Special Olympics and took great pride in doing his best. He especially cherished time spent with his family and loved ones. A devoted LSU fan, Jeffrey enjoyed anything and everything LSU and proudly shared his enthusiasm with those around him.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dick and Ginny Olsen; paternal grandparents, Wilfred and Alma Olsen; and maternal grandparents, William and Lucille Jeffirs.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brothers, Rick Olsen (Dianne) and Jason Foust (Bailey); sister, Vicki Holder (Tommy); nieces, Alicia Harrison (Morgan), Leigh Ann Spanhook (Mike), Kate Swanner (Jay), and Beth Olsen; nephews, Ryan Holder (Kirby) and Ricky Olsen (Melissa); as well as many great nieces, great nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and loved ones.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Care Solutions, The Special Olympics, The National Down Syndrome Society, and Gigi’s Playhouse.
