Jimmy Ray Towery

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Jimmy Ray Towery, 84, of West Monroe, LA. Private family services will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, at Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery in Monroe, LA under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home in West Monroe, LA.

Jimmy died on June 5, 2025, at Ridgecrest Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in West Monroe, LA.

Jimmy worked with the City of West Monroe in the Farmers Market. He loved his friends and family, loved to work on building projects, and spending time at Toledo Bend.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ocie Elmer and Lois Childress Towery; his wife, Patricia Towery; daughter, Terri Kay Towery; brothers, John Felton Towery, Ocie Towery, Jr., Charles Wayne Towery and R. C. Towery; sister, Lillian Towery McKnight; and step-son, Danny Wilhite.

Survivors: Sister, Evelyn Ramsey; Daughter, Rhonda Tolar and her husband, Rickie; 2 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren.
