Joe Walthall

Graveside Services for Mr. Joe Walthall, 86, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the Hasley Cemetery Pavilion with Don DeLukie officiating.

Mr. Walthall was born May 21, 1936, in Vossburg, MS and passed away December 22, 2022, in Monroe, LA. He served in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his son, Scott Douglas Walthall; and siblings, Arthur Walthall, Willie Sue Harpst, Ann Jobe, Eloise Knighten, and Wilma Evans.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Rita Walthall; daughter, Donna Sawyer and husband Keith; grandchildren, Kacey Nicole Waller, Kayla Howington and husband Adam, Zachary Scott Walthall and wife Amy, and Cody Durrett and wife Sidney; great grandchildren, Olivia Howington, Ava Howington, Thomas Scott Walthall, and June Walthall; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
