John M. Salvato

Funeral service for Mr. John M. Salvato, 25, of Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, August 31, 2023, in the chapel of Mulhearn Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. John O’Leary officiating. Interment will follow in Mulhearn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home Sterlington Rd. Monroe. Visitation will be from 1:00PM until service time at the Mausoleum.

John was born on October 11, 1997, in Mobile, AL, and passed away on August 26, 2023, in Monroe. He was a graduate of West Monroe High School, where he was a former band member . John loved to play the piano, read poetry, and modern art. He started in the Boy Scouts at a young age and obtained the status of Eagle Scout.

Survivors include his mother, Candace Long; sisters, Madie McCurley and Kristen Parks; brother, Adriel Long; grandfather, Preston Johnson; and father, Mike Parks.

Honorary pallbearers will be Preston Johnson, Matthew Long, Eddie Keys, Adriel Long and Mike Parks.
