Graveside services for John Clay Smith, 49, of West Monroe, LA, will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, October 13, 2023, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery with David Brown officiating.

John was born January 27, 1974 in Monroe, LA, to John and Jo Teasley Smith and passed away October 10, 2023, at his residence in West Monroe, LA.

John is preceded in death by his mother, Jo T. Smith; grandparents, Hazel Smith and Wilbur Smith, Katherine Ross and Cebron Teasley, and Kenneth Ross; uncle and aunt, Ray and Margaret Smith; aunt, Betty Smith; and cousins, David and Michael Smith.

Survivors include his father, John E. Smith; his sister, Tammy Brown and her husband, David; his sister, Stacy Richie and her husband, Tommy; his nephew, Johnathon Roach; his niece’s, Jessica Harrell and husband, Slade, and Amber Lofton and her husband, Matt; and great nieces, Alley and Amy Harrell.
