Mrs. Langston was born on October 26th, 1964, in West Monroe, Louisiana and passed away surrounded by her loving family on June 2nd, 2026, in Monroe, Louisiana
She lived her life with a heart wide open loving fiercely, giving generously, and shining the light of Christ in everything she did. A devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, she carried each of these roles with grace and joy, pouring herself into the people she loved most.
For thirty years, she was married to the love of her life, Michael. Their bond was unshakeable, a partnership built on faith, laughter, devotion, and a deep, steady love that carried them through every season. Together, they created a home filled with warmth, prayer, and the kind of love that leaves a lasting imprint on everyone who steps through the door.
Hasten and Alyssa were the treasures of her life. She adored them with a tenderness that could be felt in every hug, every prayer, every moment she spent cheering them on. Her love for her family was steady and unwavering, the kind of love that made a house feel like home.
Her faith was the foundation of her life. With a true servant’s heart, she found purpose and joy in serving at her church, always ready to lend a hand, offer a smile, or step in wherever she was needed. She was a devoted member of McClendon Baptist Church for many years. She made people feel seen, welcomed, and cared for especially the many young people who found comfort, laughter, and belonging within her home.
During her courageous journey with cancer, she showed a strength that inspired everyone around her. She faced each day with faith that never wavered, hope that never dimmed, and a quiet bravery that spoke louder than words. Even in the hardest moments, she remained a light that was steady, warm, and full of grace.
She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Herrington; father-in-law, Glenn Langston; and mother-in-law, Gaynell Guyton Langston.
Those left to love and cherish her memory are her husband, Michael Langston; son, Hasten Langston and his wife, Alyssa; mother, Johnnie Herrington; sister, Pam Mann and her husband, Bill; sister-in-law, Becky Logan; niece, Naomi Eppinette; nephews, Kevin Eppinette, Adam Logan, and Joshua Logan; great nephews, Peyton Eppinette, Eli Eppinette, and Henry Logan; as well as a host of loved ones and friends.
The pallbearers will be Jacob Spradlin, Hayden Motes, Dillon Piercy, Zach Sullivan, Ethan Cranford, and Will Gardner.
The honorary pallbearers will be Todd McGuffee, Tim McGuffee, and Tony McGufee.
To know her was to be touched by kindness. She had a way of making people feel loved, valued, and lifted up. Her smile could soften the heaviest day, and her presence brought peace wherever she went. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion that will continue to ripple through the lives she touched.
